HOWTO: Using Gmail to manage your aiesec.net mailbox

I've been using Gmail as my web mail first priority for nearly two years, for I found it useful and convenient. Now I'm going to show you how to use your gmail to manage your aiesec.net account without bothering the Indian technology, meanwhile you can still use your original gmail account!

Step 1. Find out your aiesec.net mail account (if you already knew that, turn to step 2)

1.1. Log on myaiesec.net


1.2. Click the link shown in the home page


1.3. Then your aiesec.net mail account will show up here, it's in the format of firstname.lastname@aiesec.net


Step 2: Configure Gmail to send mails as firstname.lastname@aiesec.net

2.1. Log on Gmail and click "Settings" on the right corner


2.2. Click "Accounts" Tab in "Settings", then click "Add another email account" in "Send mail as" section


2.3. Send verification email to your firstname.lastname@aiesec.net account




2.4. Log on mail.aiesec.net to verify the request (user name as shown in Step 1.3, password the same as to log on myaiesec.net)






2.5. Now you can send mail as @aiesec.net mailbox


Step 3: Configure Gmail to receive mails as firstname.lastname@aiesec.net

3.1. click "Add another email account" in "Get mail from other accounts" section


3.2. fill up your aiesec.net account information





Congratulations! Now you can use Gmail to send and receive emails from your aiesec.net mailbox!
